Starting in 2025, PSJ collaborates with the SDSU Pride Center to maintain an accurate and up-to-date Gender Neutral Restroom map for our SDSU campus.

Erin Peterson, PSJ Undergraduate Researcher, addressed an important gap in campus resources: SDSU's existing gender-neutral restroom map had not been updated since 2020, making it difficult for students, faculty, and staff to locate current restroom facilities across campus.

Through this partnership, students conducted an audit of campus restrooms to identify and document gender-neutral and single-user restroom locations. The research resulted in an updated campus map designed to make restroom information more accurate, accessible, and easier to navigate.
